New ‘Piano-smash’ video / New E.P. out!
Finally releasing my new piano album – Punching Keys E.P.
It is downloadable at www.everyonestalking.net for the price of your choice!
It was recorded a few months ago but the promo piano-smash video took some time to assemble.
Here it is –
Huge thanks to the guys at Crooked Seas. Without their filming and production skills this wouldn’t have come together. (Or apart, in the piano’s case). The video was directed by Craig Leblanc. The graffiti for the piano was done by the artist KJ Summers after we found this old piano that needed to be taken out of an old community center. It needed a new home, but instead it was painted, and then smashed with a sledgehammer and dropped off a cliff. I figure – guitarists get to smash guitars all the time. Piano players need to have fun too.
After we dropped the piano – it actually landed upright, which gave us the opportunity to take some pictures for the album cover. Check it out –
A bit about the tracks on the album:
2 New Remixes: Drake – Find Your Love, Disco Biscuits – On Time
Hey peeps and tweeps!
So me and my band Everyone’s Talking decided to cover the new Drake single ‘Find Your Love’.
Added a few extra chords, some flangers, a piano solo, and a guitar solo – to make the song a bit more ‘rocky’.
The song actually took much longer than filming the video for it, but we did spend some time doing some photo-animation. Check it out.
And here’s a new remix that I made last night. Gotta catch up on my sleeping hours, but I managed to upload this baby 10 minutes before the deadline. The original track is by the Disco Biscuits – an AWESOME live band. And their last album actually makes them a decent album band too. They have their own music festival called Camp Bisco that happens every year not too far from New York. Been there twice, and I hope to go again this year. Highly recommended – www.campbisco.net But anyways, here’s the track. Vote for me
Coldplay.com featured my video for ‘Lifelong’
TONS of thanks to Coldplay for featuring my piano video for ‘Lifelong’.
I wrote and composed the piece, and Evan filmed and edited the video.
The result is featured at The Exhibition Room on Coldplay’s site, among many other talent-filled art pieces.
The track will soon be available on my new “Punching Keys E.P.”, for the lovely price of ‘Pay What You Want’ on www.everyonestalking.net
For now, you can also enjoy the album ‘Dragonflies‘ by my band Everyone’s Talking, also for any amount of dollars you want, even $0!
Working on a shitload of new music and videos at the moment. Stay tuned and tune-in stoned.

Ahoy
Here’s a free track by Everyone’s Talking. It’s ‘Dragonflies II‘, a self made electro remix of the track from our debut album. The original rock version ‘Dragonflies‘ was produced by David Bottrill. This one includes mainly just vocals from the original, the rest is produced and mixed by me.
This is a recent review of the album in the Carry You Away blog.
And here’s an interview that we did for Promos4awareness.com
Will make the remix package for Dragonflies II available soon! Sick fun!

Also, if you haven’t got “Chapter 2″, my band’s latest E.P. you can pick that up on iTunes as well for 3.96$.
And I’d like to thank all those of you who supported those releases in the last few months. You know who you are!
And here‘s a new online-magazine post about Everyone’s Talking that my friend Daria wrote. It’s quite… different. What do you think?
Everyone’s Talking working with producer David Bottrill
I’m very excited to announce that my band Everyone’s Talking is working on its next release with Grammy award-winning producer David Bottrill. David is best known for his work with the band Tool, producing three critically and commercially successful albums for the group. His credits also include Muse, Peter Gabriel, King Crimson, Coheed And Cambria and many others.
We are heading into the studio next week to start recording the yet-to-be-titled 6-track mini album. The songs on the album will range from solid rock tunes to progressive epics with instrumental madness. We hope to finish everything and have the album out by September. Here’s the tentative track listing.
1. Dragonflies
2. Silent Crime
3. War (Part 1)
4. War (Part 2)
5. Between You And Me
6. Lady
Stay tuned for more updates, and some studio goodness that I will be posting from my twitter.
Can’t wait to share everything with you!
Dani
First band press
Hey everyone,
A magazine in Mexico called ‘Look At Me’ recently posted an interview with my band, Everyone’s Talking. I’m very excited to post this, it’s our first official press release. Below is the picture of the article (which is in Spanish of course) and after that is a short English version of some of the questions in the interview that Evan answered.
How did the band start?
Dani and I met a few years ago and start the band together, writing and recording songs in our basements. I knew very quickly that we had a sound that was special and our influences matched as well as our vision of a band.
Where did you get the idea for the band name?
The band was named after a lyric we have in the chorus of our song “Adventure.”
How difficult is it to write your music?
We have full creative control, which is very important to us as artists. As independent artists what we do has lots of ups and downs but being in front of our fans at show is always pleasurable. Writing the music is not the difficult part. We know every part of what we want musically. The hardest part is operating the band as a business and becoming self-sustainable.
What makes this project magical?
The magic in this project is the collaboration between Dani and myself. We both came from very different musical and cultural backgrounds which has helped us find our own unique sound.
What are your expectations for the release of the next disc?
When we release new music we hope it connects with and continues to expand our fan base.
What cities are you planning to visit?
We are promoting “Everyone’s Talking” in Canada, USA, and Mexico. We’re really looking forward to playing for and visiting our fans in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara. Later on we’d love to play anywhere in the world. Dani wants to visit Russia, where he was born and play in Israel too, where he grew up.
Where do you get the inspiration from to write your songs?
Every song is different, whatever is the flavor of the moment. Lately I’ve been noticing a trend of inspiration when traveling. There’s something about being out of my comfort zone which helps the creative process.
What are your short term plans?
We’re getting ready to record some new tracks in the next few weeks and get ready to release a new E.P. and then we’re spending the time after that touring.
Anything else you would like to add?
Thank you for helping us spread our music. If you’d like to hear some of it, please visit our band myspace.
